No Pidgin/Gaim in the comming release of Slackware

هل مطوري Pidgin والمدعو Gaim سابقاً يكرهون سلاكوير !! لكن لماذا!!
البارحه في قناة سلاكوير ##slackware أشار rworkman إلى موقع الويكي الخاص بمطوري Pidgin وهذا ما قاله:

إستغربت لماذا وصفهم هكذا! دخلت إلى الموقع ورأيت أقبح من ذلك.. مطوري Pidgin يصفون سلاكوير بإن لها ماضي تعيس في عملية التثبيت broken وكما أنه لا يوجد فيها مدير الحزم، بحيث أنك لا يمكن أن تبني حزمه حقيقيه!!! من أين هذا الكلام؟
فكان موقف باتريك من ذلك هو إزالة Pidgin/Gaim من الإصداره القادمه.. وهذا ما قاله في الـ ChangeLog

“We have no developers using Slack, and furthermore, several of us actively
dislike that distribution for its history of broken installs, as well as
for its non-existant package management. You cannot create true packages
for Slack.”
Well, I’m somewhat shocked by this, having never (to my knowledge) done
anything to any of the former GAIM or Pidgin developers to make them mad at
me, Slackware, or anyone on the Slackware team. I guess if they feel it’s
not possible to make a “true” Pidgin package for Slackware, there’s no point
in continuing to try. Having put out 7 security advisories on GAIM, I’m
quite sure there will be less work here if Pidgin is not included.
The Pidgin package has been moved to the “unsupported” directory. For the
record, I do not actively dislike Pidgin or any of their developers, but I
do plan to use Kopete from now on.

هل لإن مطوري Pidgin لا يستخدمون سلاكوير عندها يصح لهم قول هذا الكلام!! على الأقل بساطه بإمكانهم قول شيء مشابه لـ:
here are the packages we will provide otherwise use the tarballs
اليوم أعدت الدخول إلى موقعهم المذكور وقد غيرو ما كتبوه وذلك بعد تكلم الكثير من مستخدمي سلاكوير إليهم في القناه الخاصه بهم، أيضاً قام العديد ببعث رسائل إلكترونيه إى فريق التطوير!
بصراحه كنت فرح بإصدار النسخه الجديده من البرنامج ولكن الآن سأبحث عن برنامج جديد.. قد يكون kopete…
